We have been notified by trade unions representing council cleansing staff of their intention to take strike action.
The strike action will take place in two stages with the first strike due to start on Wednesday, 24 August 2022 and finish on Thursday, 1 September 2022. The second stage of industrial action will begin on Wednesday, 7 September and finish on Saturday, 10 September 10 2022.
Household bin collections and street cleansing services are likely to experience widespread disruption during these times.
